Counselor is responsible for participating in the development and support of students by providing counseling and guidance-related activities to students wo are Deaf/hard-of-hearing and their families.Self-identification as an ethnic minority and/or a female pursuant to federal guidelines.Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and a minimum five years of professional experience, including three years in coaching, athletic administration, and/or program management.Identifies the needs of, and provides in-service training and information to, state agencies concerning people with hearing loss.Advises community members on the right of deaf and hard of hearing individuals.Answers telephone calls and performs other routine clerical tasks.
